The Better Business Bureau is warning veterans to be careful about VA Disability Scams

The Better Business Bureau says it’s very important for veterans and their families to look for companies accredited by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. Veteran Benefits Fraud is a big concern for the Better Business Bureau and they want you to be on the lookout for companies like VetAttend that engage in a veteran benefits scam.

As VA disability scams are not limited to companies that are not accredited by the VA, there are companies out there that engage in veteran benefits fraud by getting veterans to sign up for services that are provided free of charge by accredited claims agents.

Non-accredited companies like Vet Attend operate just outside the law which made them hard to detect and made it easy for them to commit their VA disability scams.
