So what is the VA doing about Burn Pit Claims? The short answer is not much. VA Secretary McDonough wants more veterans to get help from the Department of Veterans Affairs. On Monday during a press conference, he said that he is urging veterans to come forward with their burn pit claims.
So it seems like his solution is to get more veterans to sign up for the burn pit registry and get a burn pit exam. That’s not even close to getting the job done. We need to be compensated for our burn pit-related disabilities!
