LoginTroops Can Finally File Medical Malpractice Claims Against the Military
If you were injured on active duty like I was, you probably already know that you cannot file medical malpractice claims against the military. The law that prevented you from taking action is known as the Feres Doctrine.
That is no longer the case as of Thursday, June 19, 2021, when congress made a new law which is a part of the National Defense Authorization Act that was passed by congress. Troops on active duty can now file medical malpractice claims against the military which is something we could not do since 1950.
