I Absolutely Despise Seeing My 70% VA Mental Health Rating

It bothers me to see that I have a 70% mental health rating from the VA. This number deficiencies in most areas of my work and social life. I also have suicidal ideation and paranoid behavior. On paper, I look like a moron, and I just want to get this rating off my record.

Mental health diagnoses can be very stigmatizing, and it’s frustrating to know that this is something that is going to follow me around for the rest of my life. It’s hard enough trying to get by day-to-day when you’re struggling with mental health issues, but to have everyone know about it as well is really embarrassing.
