The Veterans Aid and Attendance (A&A) benefit is a pension that can be used to help cover the cost of long-term care for eligible veterans and their spouses. Veterans who are eligible for this benefit can receive up to $2,230 per month to help cover the cost of care, while their spouses can receive up to $1,113 per month.

To be eligible for the Veterans Aid and Attendance benefit, you must meet the following criteria:
-You must be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces
-You must have served at least 90 days of active duty, with at least one day during a time of war
-You must be 65 years of age or older, or you must be permanently and totally disabled
-You must require the assistance of another person to perform basic activities of daily living, such as eating, bathing, dressing, or using the restroom
To apply for the Veterans Aid and Attendance benefit, you will need to complete and submit a VA Form 21-2680, which can be obtained from your local VA office or online at the Veterans Administration website.
