LoginThe Sleep Doctor’s Dirty Little Secret: VA Ratings for Insomnia
If you’re a veteran who suffers from insomnia, you may be wondering what the VA’s rating system for this condition is. Unfortunately, the VA’s rating system for insomnia is a bit of a dirty little secret.
The VA does not have an official rating system for insomnia. However, they do have a general guideline that states that veterans with insomnia should be rated as 30% disabled.
This guideline is not set in stone, however, and the VA may choose to rate veterans with insomnia higher or lower depending on the severity of the condition.
