When you file your asthma claim with your regional office (RO) or state veterans agency (SVA), you may be compensated for asthma if it meets the requirements stated in law and regulation.

You will need a nexus letter from a doctor describing how your asthma should be service-connected if your VA claim for asthma was denied.
